On Valentine's day this year, Xiaomi will host its first product launch in India. The invitation has a big '5' logo on the invite, hinting at the launch of Redmi 5. The phone will be sold in three different options e 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage, 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage, and the 4GB RAM/ 32GB. The phone which was launched in China in December will be available in five color variants i.e. Light Blue, Black, Gold and Rose Gold color variants.

Buyers may have to pay CNY 699 about Rs. 8,100 for the 2GB RAM variant. The 3GB RAM variant has been priced at CNY 899 (roughly Rs. 9,100). The 4GB RAM variant launched last recently has been priced at roughly Rs. 11,200. The two smartphones have already been launched in China. In China, 3GB RAM variant of the Redmi 5 Plus is sold for CNY 999 in China, and the 4GB RAM variant is sold for CNY 1,299. During the event, Xiaomi would most probably share price details and availability date for the Indian market.
