Soon after the launching of Era 4K smartphone, the homegrown smartphone manufacturing company, Xolo has added an another model in its Era series dubbed as Era 4G. The smartphone will be available exclusively via Snapdeal starting from February 26 in a flash sale at a price of Rs. 4,777.

Xolo in a press event revealed that the Era-range of smartphones sold over 150,000 units via Snapdeal. The notable feature in Xolo Era 4G is it comes with multilingual support for regional languages including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu.
In terms of specifications, the Xolo era 4G is featuring a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720*1280 pixels and is offering a pixel density of 294ppi. For the protection, the display is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass. The handset is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM. The Era 4G runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based operating system out of the box and the company promises that the handset will receive an Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in future.
At this price point, Xolo Era 4G will be competing against the Intex Aqua Wing, priced at Rs. 4,599and the 4G enabled Swipe Elite 2, priced at Rs. 4,666.

The smartphone houses an inbuilt storage of 8GB, that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSd card slot expansion. On the photography end, it is loaded with a 5-megapixel camera at the rear end with LED flash, while the 2-megapixel front facing camera on the board.
For the connectivity, Era 4G includes GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, Micro-USB 2.0, USB-OTG and GPS/ A-GPS, apart from 4G. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
