Yu Televentures, the sister company of Micromax, is all set to launch its much-awaited 'high-end' Yu Yutopia smartphone today. As per the reports and the teasers revealed, one must not ignore this smart phone who has also been nicknamed as "the most powerful handset in the world" and will come equipped with better features in comparison to its other counterparts, namely iPhone and OnePlus 2. Even Rahul Sharma founder of Yu Televentures state - This is the most powerful phone, and it’s from India. I’m underlining it, it’s from India.
Previous reports suggest that the Yutopia tops the list in terms of hardware as there is no Android smart phone that comes with a Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994) octa-core SoC chip clocked at 1.5GHz. It also comes with a 4GB of RAM and these hardware specs keep it positioned on the top. As per reports one handset called the Yu5050 scored 1353 on the single-core test and 4622 in the multi-core and was spotted on a benchmarking website and it is believed to be Yutopia only.
Though there are no confirmed reports on the screen size of the smart phone, but reports suggest that it could measure in at 5.2 inches. If what teaser shows is true, then it would be the first smart phone from the Yu Televentures to feature a QHD display. The teasers also do not reveal any information on the fact if the Yu Yutopia would feature an external SD slot or not, but it is nearly confirmed that it would have 32GB inside, which is way more than the iPhone that still offers 16GB internal in its most basic variant.
Along with the internal specifications of the smart phone, its exteriors too play an important role in deciding if it stands at par with others or not and taking this point into consideration the upcoming smart phone has been given an "all-metal" body that certainly makes the phone look and feel more premium. This will be the first time a Yu smart phone will come with an all-metal build as none of its previous released phones, namely the Yu Yureka, Yuphoria, Yureka Plus, and Yunique came with plastic body designs. In a teaser posted earlier, the company also reveals that the Yutopia will have a larger battery giving no information on the battery capacity of the phone. In one of teasers, the company also mocked the OnePlus 2 smartphone for not having support for the Qualcomm Quick Charge feature, confirming that Yutopia will have it.
There are confirmed reports from the company's end that Yutopia is not the only smart phone that is due launch today, instead more than one device would be getting launched today which further gets confirmed by a teaser image that points to a handset instead of another device.
