Asus, Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer has partnered with Flipkart to capture the Indian market and to offers the wide variety of smartphones at an affordable price across the country. In a partnership, Asus and Flipkart have recently launched the new smartphone in India, called ZenFone Max Pro M1. The recently launched smartphone is now available for pre-orders at Flipkart which will start at 12 PM on 3rd May 2018 (today). The Taiwanese company has launched the Zenfone Max Pro 1 to compete with Redmi Note 5 Pro. At the price point, the price of Asus Zenfone Max Pro 1 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is almost similar to each other. The Taiwanese company has unveiled the Zenfone Max Pro 1 in three storage variants: 3GB of RAM+32GB internal storage 4GB of RAM+64GB internal storage, and 6GB RAM+64GB internal storage. The company states that the higher storage variant will come with slighter different specifications as of now the company has not disclosed the launch date, but it is anticipated that it would be unveiled sooner in India.
ZenFone Max Pro M1 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage variant is available at price tag of Rs 10,999, whereas 4GB RAM/ 64GB internal storage variant is priced at Rs 12,999. The higher 6GB RAM+64GB internal storage variant will cost around Rs 14,999, however, the company has not launched the higher variant in India right now.
The company says that the higher variant will come with improved camera sensors along with dual rear cameras which comprises the combination of 16-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel sensors. For the selfie snapper, it will bring a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. As of now, the Taiwanese company has not disclosed the launch date in India.
The company is offering the smartphone in two color options: Midnight Black and Grey. Flipkart, E-commerce platform is providing the Complete Mobile Protection at an effective price of Rs 49 for one year on the purchase of Zenfone Max Pro 1. The Complete Mobile Protection covers several damages such as broken screens, liquid damage, hardware and software faults.
As a part of the launch offers, Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 is available at No- Cost EMI options starts at Rs 917 per month. The e-commerce platform is also offering the discount of up to Rs 1000 in an exchange of old smartphone. Vodafone mobile users who will purchase the ZenFone Max Pro M1 will get the benefit of up to Rs 3,200 which includes 10GB complimentary data which is valid for 12 months or 12 recharges whichever is earlier on the prepaid recharge of Rs. 199 and above.
ZenFone Max Pro M1 bears a 5.99-inch LCD display along with advanced 18:9 aspect ratio and having a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC which is similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. As we mentioned above, the smartphone is available in three storage variants. The storage capacity can be extended further up to 2TB by using the memory card. Under the hood, it is fueled by a massive 5000mAh battery which is equipped with the 10W charger.
In terms of photography, Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 features dual rear cameras with a combination of 13 MP and 5 MP sensors, offering dual LED flash and phase detection autofocus (PDAF). For the selfie snapper, the smartphone brings an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and LED flash
Connectivity options on the ZenFone Max Pro M1 are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.2 (with aptX), GPS/ A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone is equipped with Sensors onboard the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 include Face Unlock sensor, fingerprint sensor, am an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The weight of the smartphone is 180 grams and its dimensions are 159x76x8.61mm
