At a launch event in Lucknow, the Chinese company Zopo has launched its latest model 'Color M4' in India at a price of Rs. 4,999. From April 25 (Tuesday) onwards, it will be available in all the major retail outlets across the country. Zopo Color M4 is a successor of Zopo Color X 5.5. 4G VoLTE support is one of the highlighting feature of Zopo smartphone.
In terms of design, the Zopo Color M4 sports a plastic textured at the back of the device. The smartphone will be available in Matte White, Charcoal Black, Peach, Caribbean Blue and Indigo color variants.
The volume and power buttons are placed on the right edge of the smartphone. The speakers are located at the back side of the device. The Zopo Color M4 supports dual- sim card (Micro + Regular), it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone will be backed up with a MediaTek MT6737M quad-core processor with ARM Mali T720-MP1 650MHz GPU along with 1GB RAM. The smartphone also offering 16GB inbuilt storage which can be further extended upto 64GB via microSD. It will be featured with a 4-inch (480x800 pixels) IPS display with 233ppi pixel density.
In terms of optics, Zopo Color M4 operates a 5- megapixel rear camera and includes CMOS sensor along with fixed focus, LED flash, and it also supports 720p video recording and 1080p video playback. It supports 2-megapixel front camera along with fixed focus for selfie lovers and video chatters. The smartphone powered by a 1450mAh battery. From the connectivity board, it includes Bluetooth 4.0, 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, Micro-USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11/a/b/g/n and FM radio.
The Zopo Color M4 measures 125.5mm x 64.0mm x 10.6mm in dimensions and it weigh 114 grams. It also providing 365 days of replacement warranty. If there is any hardware problem arises, within one year of purchasing the smartphone, replacement facility is also available at the service centres.
Sandeep Tomar, National Business Manager, ZOPO India, addressing in an occasion said “Lucknow launch marks the entry of ZOPO in the east region of UP. It has a total of 47 districts where we have appointed 34 distributors with 34 service centres in it. The Channel is well established and functioning now. This new model, the Color M4 will be big hit, as there is no competition present at this price for the same specifications. A high standard VoLTE product is offered by no other international brand in India at the same price. We are looking to increase our volumes from this model and target a segment which no other international smartphone brand has touched so far. By this, the consumers will avail a fast and affordable mobile internet experience that will democratize 4G VoLTE usage in the country.
