The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has denied the reports of Sandeep Patil for the retirement of Sachin Tendulkar. Mr. Rajeev Shukla said from BCCI that it is totally a rumor because we have spoken to both Patil and Tendulkar.

On this matter, Mr. Patil said that I haven't talked to the veteran batsman Sachin Tendulkar since last 10 months either by face to face or on mobile phone. It will always be a pleasure to meet Tendulkar.

Sachin has scored century of 100 but obtained only two fifties in last 10 test matches. His last test hundred of 146 runs seen in a test match played against South Africa at Cape Town in January, 2011.

At present, he is preparing to play in the Champions League T20 for Mumbai Indians (MI). He will play against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at SMS Stadium, Jaipur on September 21, 2013.
