Android Operating System is the bread n jam of today's era. The new versions timely published and launched by Google are adopted and enforced in the latest smartphones to provide a smoother platform interface. Hiring the names from the food market and unveiling them in the tech industry, is the punch Google has played. The latest Android M OS which was under curtains, is now revealed with name Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The near-final SDK name provided to the latest version is 6.0. As per the tradition, the company inaugurated the placed statue of the latest green droid holding a piece of dessert in its hand, which pauses the ongoing speculation. The dessert piece is none other than the piece of marshmallow.
The Product manager Jamal Eason wrote in a blog post, “Whether you like them straight out of the bag, roasted to a golden brown exterior with a molten center, or in fluff form, who doesn't like marshmallows? We definitely like them”. “Since the launch of the M Developer Preview at Google I/O in May, we've enjoyed all of your participation and feedback. Today with the final Developer Preview update, we're introducing the official Android 6.0 SDK and opening Google Play for publishing your apps that target the new API level 23 in Android Marshmallow."
Android Lollipop came up with the enticing range of new features with the latest versions. Unlike older, Android 6.0 Marshmallow aims to deliver stability and performance improvements. It is also reported that, the new features like Android Pay, Tap on Now, new app permissions model, built-in support for fingerprint scanner, as well as support for the USB Type-C standard are there. The new update also offers native support for the 64-bit ARMv8 architecture which has never been the part of the android arena.
The company is rumored to launch its two flagship series Nexus smartphones alongside the official release of the latest Android M. Earlier, on Monday the company has already come up with the new LG-made Nexus 5 smartphone. The Android v6.0 is expected to be delivered later this year.
