Asus Launched ZenWatch 3 on Pre IFA Event at INR 17,000

Asus again is positive about the IFA 2016, world's most extravagant event on consumer electronics and products, an expo which takes place every year in Berlin. In the same pursuit, Asus launched their all new ZenWatch 3 before the IFA 2016 commence.

The newly launched Asus ZenWatch 3 is a bit more expensive than its previous version ZenWatch 2, as the previous sibling was costing EUR 169 (INR 12,600) to the public whereas the ZenWatch 3 will now cost EUR 229 (INR 17,000). A source named verge reported that the watch will be available from October in the US and Germany.

The place of the launch was Asus 'Zenvolution' event and the interesting thing which attracted everyone was the round display instead of square one. The 1.39-inch AMOLED Display with 400x400 pixels which gives a 287ppi of pixel density. With this feature, the company also told that the Watch will be integrating 50 custom faces and also there FaceDesigner app will let the user customize its own Watch Face.

The Asus ZenWatch 3 will be available in Rose Gold, Silver, and Gunmetal Black. All these watches will be cased in jewelry grade 316L stainless steel and all of these will be featuring a gold colored in-layout. Along with these premium illuminations, the watch will be equipped with Italian leather strips or high-quality rubber in dark brown or beige colored straps.

Some value-added features included in the Watch are, ZenFit activity tracking app, accessible by a customizable button. The fitness feature of the ZenWatch is assured to be 95 percent correct with tracking activities like sit-ups, push-ups, running and counting steps taken. The ZenWatch 3 is beautified with a digital crown.

Talking about the technical specs, the watch is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC, with 512 MB RAM and 4GB storage. There is 341 mAh battery which can take the time checker to 2 days of running time. The battery is backed with a HyperCharge feature which speeds the charging and fills the cell in 15 minutes to a decent 60 percent battery life.

On the occasion of the launch, Asus Vice President Eric Chen said, "IFA is where we launched our very first smartwatch and we have continued the tradition today with ZenWatch 3. We deeply appreciate the loyal support from consumers in Europe, and we are excited to bring our new Zenvolution product line-up to the European markets."
