Microsoft has dropped arrays of surprises in the form of Windows 10 features and applications. Apart from this, the Technical Preview has brought a new hardware also to add more glitters in the charm of the event. The Redmond guys has showcased an 84-inch 4K display and named it Surface Hub. Company has made it with built-in cameras, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, speakers, microphones, and NFC.
Company though didn’t disclose much about the device, but demoed it during the Technical Preview which perfectly demonstrated its purpose for conferencing purpose. No pricing and availability details are known, but what the Redmond gargantuan said at the keynote is about the sizes.
Surface Hub will come in 55-inch and 84-inch sizes. To take the benefit of built-in cameras, mics and sensors, Company will be integrating the Skype for Business and OneNote in Windows 10. Another noteworthy feature of this device is its ink and touch support. It is a Windows 10 device for sure but its mammoth display forces the Company to customize the interface.
A digital white board will also come equipped in this device for annotations and drawing purposes. Sharing and editing the content from any device can also be possible. Along with such new features, the basic features will still be there in this device to use. Overall, the Surface Hub is meant for businesses and enterprises, especially for conferencing. This was not the only hardware which was showcased there; HoloLens was another hardware that got the chance to show its demo at the Windows 10 January Technical Preview.
