Fujifilm has recently launched the Instax Share SP-2, the second version of its portable instant film printers. The first version was released at CES in 2014. Instax Share SP-2 will be available in July in two colours- Silver and Gold. It will be priced at $ 199( Rs 13510 approx.) with a double pack of Fujifilm's Instax Mini instant film (20 exposures) which will be sold separately for $19.95.
Instax Share SP-2 is claimed to be faster, more reliable and comes with more customization options than the ones available in previous version. It prints the photos in 10 seconds instead of 16 seconds. One can adjust brightness, contrast, and saturation or apply creative filters to each photo that is to printed. The app which has been overhauled from the previous version is also capable of printing collages of images.
Let's take a quick recap of the previous versions of the Instax Share. They use Fujifilm's 2-inch-by-3-inch Instax Mini instant film, and they can be easily used with the help of a smartphones. Photos from Camera roll or services like Instagram and Facebook can be easily printed and can be customised to show statistics like the number of likes and hearts each photo get and even the location where the photo was taken.
