Google Introduces YouTube Go and Public Wi-Fi For Public Places in India

Looks like Google is playing a vital role in Digital India campaigning, as the techno giant is making many efforts to help in the development of the country. Google this time has come up with two new advancements in indian Technology YouTube Go and a Public Wi-Fi availability to schools, malls and other places across the country.

Firstly, talking about YouTube Go, Google has announced the application today and will slowly start rolling it out. People can sign up to get notified on the application launch. The application comes with some interesting features, which includes the preview of the size of video in MB before starting the video, saving the video for offline usage, and to share videos without having internet.

Coming to the public Wi-Fi availability of Google across the country, under the following service, the techno giant firm will made Wi-Fi hotspots available on crowded places such as Malls, Schools, cafes, universities etc, as the giant seeks to bring more people to its google platform.

Caesar Sengupta, Vice-President, Next Billion Users at Google stated, “The goal is to give people many hot spots within a few minutes walk from their home, university, or workplace, unified by a simple login process that works across all of them”. Google presently offers an access to free Wi-Fi across 53 railway stations across India, which is expected to grow up to 100 by the year end, claimed by the company.
