LG, the Korean electronics manufacturing firm has already been a part of almost every kind of electronics appliance. Now, the company is going to introduce all new LG V20 smartphone which will be World’s first smartphone having quad DAC packed in it. The upgraded version of popular V10 will be seen supporting a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) for enhanced audio playback, the firm revealed.

The South Korean consumer electronics giant made an emailed statement that the Quad DAC placed in the V20 will enhance the user experience of listening music and will deliver “crisp and clear sound” to the listeners. The implementation is believed to be better than the traditional DAC technique, and it can reduce up to 50% of ambient noise levels.
LG had been working with the ESS technology, a viking in high-performance analog to audio devices, to develop the quad DAC, which will presumably be a concatenation for several features of the device and will provide a unique and better sound experience to music lovers.
Juno Cho, President of LG electronics and mobile communications, in a statement, said, “As Smartphones mature, we are seeing more and more customers looking beyond just fast processors and big displays on their devices. Higher quality audio is simply the natural evolution of the smartphone, as the industry moves toward a more holistic multimedia consumption experience. We’re pleased to continue this long-term partnership with ESS and bring in class audio to LG V20 users.”
The company has already announced that the smartphone will be launched at an event to be held on September 6 this year and will be running Android v7.0 i.e, Android Nougat at the launch. This will make it the first device to launch with the latest version of Android OS that will soon get released worldwide.
The upcoming LG V20 will be powered by a quad-core qualcomm MSM8996 snapdragon 820 chipset coupled with adreno 530 GPU. The device will be featured with a 5.7 inch HD IPS display of resolution 1440 X 2560 pixels. Blessed with a 20-megapixel rear camera with an 8-megapixel duo front shooter for selfies, the smartphone will arrive in three memory variants 3264GB internal memory with 4GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt space with 6GB RAM which can both be extended upto 256GB via microSD card.
Connectivity of the handset will include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, Infrared port, Radio and USB Type-C. The Android smartphone will be backed-up by a 4000mAh Li-Ion battery.
