Here, it seems worth to state that Google is constantly striving hard to label its Google Glass as the most profit-oriented device. After bringing a better Contact System in its headgear, now the search giant has updated its My Glass app (v3.3.0) to grab the more consumers in its relatively small market.
As per the company, these smart lens are now compatible with all Android-based Applications. Here, it has been said that the new version of App is introducing Notification Sync feature, whereby all notifications from the paired device can be displayed on this head-worn wearable.
For example, WhatsApp and Facebook messages as well as photo notification, tag alerts, Twitter mentions will now be in wearer's direct line of vision. So, the notification sync also minimizes the reasons to look down at smartphone because now users can stay connected to their favorite phone apps without taking out the mobile from pocket. Previously, only specific app were compatible with Glass like Gmail and Hangouts.
However, we have already seen this attribute in Android wear smartwatches like Moto 360. Therefore, this smart Glass is not the first one to get notification relay functionality. Apparently, by displaying all the app alerts in front of the wearer's eyeball, it confers quick and easy interaction.
Google has also posted a quick tutorial video for instructions. And, the updated My Glass app (v3.3.0) to provide a Notification Sync feature has been stated to be available from the 15th of October.
