In the race of smartwatches, Tag Heuer is also planning to make its entry. In the tech market, where numerous smart-watches are already provided with the appealing features, Tag Heuer is all set to introduce its own smart product. According to the sources, the manufacturer of the smartwatch has unveiled the images of its upcoming watch which is planned to be launched somewhere next month. The factor that makes this watch different from others is that it will use Intel SoC chip instead of Qualcomm's Snapdragon chip.
In the leaked images, the image in the dark is shown confirming it to have a round dial. Other image officially stated the new watch to be called as “Connected”. On the image, a countdown is also displayed with 9th November as the date of its launch.
If sources are to be believed, the Tag Heuer Connected will be unveiled on 9th of November with a price tag of $1800. Initially, Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of the luxury goods company reportedly mentioned that more than 50% of the components will be sourced in Switzerland so as to make it a Swiss made product. But it is just a possibility as of now. But adding some attracting words to his statements, Biver mentioned that the smartwatch will remain a trend for a long time. And it is obvious that no one will anyhow pay such bulky amount for a watch which will become outdated after a short interval of time.
