Nokia 3 Will Start Receiving Android 8.0 Oreo Update From Next Week

Nokia 3 will start receiving Android 8.0 Oreo Update from next week. HMD Global, Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas has made the official announcement of Android 8.0 Oreo Beta for Nokia 3 on Sunday during the MWC 2018 Event. The executives also reported that the Nokia 3 will sooner or later be followed by Nokia 2 for getting the Android Oreo 8.0 Update.

Interested users who want to install Android Oreo Update for Nokia 3, initially they will have to log in/ sign up for Nokia Beta Labs and then mention IMEI number for the sake of an approval. Once the approval is done, the user will get a notification for Android Oreo update and after then the user will be able to download the software update. We would recommend you to use a Wi-Fi connection while downloading the update and as well restore the backup of your personal data before starting the software update.

According to the screenshot revealed by a Twitter user, it seems that the size of Android 8.0 Oreo Update is about 1.6 GB for Nokia 3. Apart from the capacity, Android 8.0 Oreo Update comes with several features such as Notification dots, Google Play Protect security scans, Autofill passwords, Picture-in-Picture mode and Faster boot up.
