At least 18 people are missing by avalanche in the disputed Kashmir region from India and Pakistan, eight Pakistani soldiers are included.Officials say that avalanche is encountered in mountain Neelam Valley which belongs to Pakistan administered Kashmir.
Firstly, the soldiers were looking for their colleagues those missed in avalanche, but it happened again and those soldiers also missed in avalanche. Officials from Pakistan say that task of searching for the missing men are affected from bad weather and terrain structure of valley. Rescue team members had to find two dead people but a second avalanche came again.
Avalanche occurred at Dana Tajiyan has distance of 130 km from main city Muzaffarabad of Pakistan-administered Kashmir. Avalanche on Friday was occurred at Pakistani bordering area that is near by control line.
The Himalayan region is claimed by India and Pakistan; both countries had fought two battles over it. The cease-fire was implemented in 2003 but both sides are deploying thousands of soldiers here. Officials say that avalanche might caused by heavy snow fall that is common here. Same year in April, 140 Pakistani soldiers were died in the avalanche at the region of Siachen glacie, While in February; at least 16 Indian soldiers had died from two avalanches in the Kashmir Valley.
