Italian sailors who were accused of killing fishermen of India have permitted by Kerala high court to go to their home for Christmas. They have given two weeks respite and they have to pay Rs. 6 crore and bank guarantee also. Court has applied other tough conditions on them.
High court said that if central government thinks that the affidavit of Italian ambassador is acceptable then they will think about changing the conditions in their bail. These two sailors were arrested on 15th February at Alapujha beach of Kerala from 'Enricha Lexi ship' for killing two fishermen. They fired them by considering them pirates. Court said they can leave India for two weeks and have to return on 10th January next year.
