Indian off spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has improved his ICC Batting Ranking to join top 50 batsmen playing a fighting innings of not out 91 runs against England in the Kolkata. Ashwin has reached at 50th position from 68th position in ranking. He also improved his bowling ranking by 2 positions, now he is at 22nd position. In batting ranking master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has dropped down a place but still at the top in India, now he is at 19th position.
Alastair Cook, the Captain of England Cricket Team, has at the fourth position with the help of back to back three centuries. Whereas Caribbean Shivnariane Chanderpaul is at first, Australian Michael Clarke at second, and South African Hashim Amla stands at third position.
