BJP wins in Gujrat while Congress in Himachal

Modi has hit the hat-trick in Gujrat and BJP is going to make their government for continuous fifth time. Modi may take the pledge for CM post on 25th December. BJP has got 116 seats with loss of one seat as per previous election. Congress has got 60 seats instead of 62 seats in previous elections. Gujrat parivartan party has won only 2 seats and other has 4 seats.

Many big leaders of Congress have lost the election including Congress regional president Arjun Modwadia, opposition leader in assembly Shakti Singh Gohil, Shweta Bhatt, Jagriti pandya and Jainarayan Vyas. Modwadia lost the election by 17,146 votes from Babu bokhiria. Modwadia got 77,606 votes. He had also won in 2002 and 2007.

Big leaders as Narendra Modi, keshubhai Patel, Shankar Singh Waghela and state minister Amit Shah have won the election. Keshubhai Patel has one by 20,000 vote. Sohrabuddhin Shekh and Tulsi Prajapati have also won.
