German luxury car maker automobile company BMW is launched its entry level sports car 'x1' in a new avatar. The starting showroom price in Delhi is only 27.9 lakh. Company three variants such as 20d, 20d sports line and 20d x line will be available in the market as soon as possible. 2.0 liter diesel engine is fitted in new x1. 8 speed automatic transmission X1, which is capable of 184 bhp.

BMW offered 8 speed automatic transmission in new cars like his 3 series car. The price of base model 20d is only 2.79 million. 20D sports line value is 32.5 million and 20d x line cost is only 32.5 million. The company has changed several new design like bumber, headlamp and front grill in new avatar X1 after that car is looking so nice. Use of sporty interior in the car is quite powerful. BMW new X1 version style is very strong, it looks like the current 3 series. There are many optional features in the car like panoramic sunroof, satellite navigation and rain sensing wipers. There is no petrol version of new BMW x1.

During launching time, BMW India president Philipp Von Sahr said that company will growth with new version X1 and 1 series cars in the end of 2013. He told that 1 series will assemble in Chennai plant and it will be the company's sixth car that assemble in India.

BMW x1 is capable to capture 0-100 km per hour speed in 7.9 second. Its top speed is 205 km per hour.
