South Indian Scientists have discovered a new species of the organism. The organism has been named Blind catfish. It is found on marshy ground. It found in a deep well of Irinjlakuda area of South Indian state of Kerala's district.
Scientists told the BBC who detected this organism that the length of the reddish colored fish is 3.78 centimeters. Its body is long and cylindrical. Professor Bijoy Nandan of Cochin University of science and technology department of Marine Sciences said, "We have not information about the animal's anatomy is achieved. Now we are trying to get information about molecular properties so that we can know about its ancients and its phenomenon.
Biologists say that these species takes place in wells or 'tunnels' deep hole when the well or tunnel is dug. This new species of blind catfish named Horeglenis Abdulklamin in the name of former president Abdul Kalam. The different characteristics of this fish are: its reddish color and eyeless.
This species lives on the organic matter found in soil. It is not only the patrons but contributes significantly to the environment as well.
