Free Roaming likely to be start from October 2013

Soon mobile company will face the recession as their main source of income which comes from the customer's mobile roaming will soon get over and customers will get relax. Kapil Sibal who is the minister of Communication and Information Technology has declared October 2013 as deadline for the Roaming free mobile network.

As per the National Telecom Policy 2012 roaming free network is going to get introduced in the country, though it has no fixed date for their beginning.

National Telecom Policy 2012 has got permission from Cabinet in May 2012. The concept behind this is One Nation, One Rate. The incoming calls will be free, while outgoing calls will be charged at local rate. Once this policy came into existence then there will be no difference between STD and locals.
