The world's largest Internet company Google has already entered into the laptop market. The company launched its first Chromebook pixel touchscreen laptop on this Thursday which runs on Google's Chrome operating system and has been "largely built" by the web giant.
Its display is of 13 inch and its resolution is similar to the Retina Display of Apple's MacBook. Chrome operating system based 32 GB Wi - Fi version laptop costs Rs 70,000, while the 64 GB version of LTE is priced around Rs 80,000.
It is loaded with 1.8 GHz Intel Core I5 dual core processor with Intel HD graphics card and 4 GB of RAM. It has 2 USB 2.0 ports, SD and MMC supportable two - in - one card reader, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi - Fi connectivity is also provided.
Company disclosed "This Chromebook has the highest pixel density (239 pixels per inch) as compared to any laptop screen today available in the market".
