Hike in the cost of both Maruti and Petrol

Maruti has increased its costs by 20,000 and same is the case for Petrol Company which is increased by 35 Rs per liter and stops on Rs 67.59. As per Maruti Company, due to increase in cost of resources company's margin is affected and because of which they have to raise their car cost.

Maruti Suzuki India main executing Officer Mayank Parikh (marketing and sales) says that "The hike in prices of car will start from Wednesday".

Now government is planning to increase the costs of diesel and gas cylinder. The oil companies had cut petrol prices in October and November. After fresh up to Rs 74.90 per liter in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai at Rs 73.88 per liter is Rs 70.92. In June 2010, the government had controlled the price of petrol. International crude oil prices from the companies on the basis of that review it every month.
