India Budget 2013 Impact on Mobile

Finance Minister P. Chidambaram has disclosed its budget strategy which brought vibrations in whole country. Budget has not leave mobile companies also. Chidambaram added that mobiles which are available in the cost of more than 2000 will get more costlier and its duty tax increases to 6%and the one with lesser range will face same excercise duty. Signals received from the mobile companies reveals that, effect will be seen more on mid and high range phones.

Nokia India V.P. and M.D. P. Balaji said that we request to finance minister that mobile phones fullfill the basic need of every people. It is also a good source of learning and income generator device of youth. According to Nokia, from this increase grey market and selling of low standard handsets which is bad omen for company and public.

Information and service for the mobile phone has become the people's basic needs. It is also a tool for learning and the device is to generate income for Youth. According to Nokia's handsets increased sales of gray market and can lead to poor standards, which would be bad for the industry and customers.

Samsung mobile vice president says that in budget there is no place for sentiments of customers. Increase in excercise duty will not give positive rise to company, despite of it will cost more to customers.
