Intel launches TV Set Top Box

Intel the chip maker company sets plan to launch an internet television service with live and on-demand content so the consumers can watch live TV on their television screen. Intel is world's top class chip maker company.

The general manager of Intel Media Mr. Erik Huggers said that he is trying to negotiating with content providers. Where they know, they have lake experience and relationship in unfamiliar and potentioally costly market. He also added, hundreds of company employees and their families are already testing a set-top box the company will sell as part of the service.

The chip manufacturer thinks to proffer users small cluster of content than those currently offered by cable operators. The general manager told the AllThingsDigital "Drive into Media" conference on Tuesday.

By asking, if intel has linked any content deals. Mr. Huggers said he is working with providers and he is confident as well that company will have a oblige product to launch this year.

Huggers said, "the proles have been working for installing Intel media continuously since last year, a new group focalized on developing a platform of Internet".

Intel has fought to get its practical television service off the ground due to involuntariness on the part of major media content supplier to let the company unpack and permit specific networks and shows at a deduction to what cable and satellite partners pay, according to sources.
