Manish Malhotra in Wills Fashion Show

The day 2 of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013 was graced with famous designer Manish Malhotra. He presented remarkable Chikankari work in the show named "Mijwan Sonnets". It was based on Mijwan Welfare Society which is women empowerment mission by Actress and social activist Shabana Azmi's father Kaifi Azmi who launched Chikankari work for those girls were adept at. They took the cause to renowned designer Manish Malhotra who executed the show with 55 women who created Chikankari work on his garments collection.

Shabana Azmi quoted that this show is a success story of Mijwan Welfare society.

Same as the show ‘Mijwan Sonnets’, Manish Malhotra has been presenting new concepts in Mumbai. Famous celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor and Hritik Roshan have walked on the ramp by wearing fabulous Chikankari kurtas and Lahangas. He used colors like pink, brunt, oranges, ivory and dull shades. The collection was showing the talent of the Mijwan girls.

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra was the showstopper of the show, she was looking gorgeous in navy blue lahanga and backless choli with bright red dupatta complimented with Chikankari work. The different shades of the made it memorable and remarkable.
