India's most leading Company Micromax is going to launch a new smartphone which runs on Android 4.1 operating system and has quad core processor. Company has fixed its cost as Rs 15000. Micromax co-founder and business director Vikas Jain says "In the month of March Micromax will launch this phone". Features This phone has QHD display of 4.5 inch, ICS or Jelly Bean operating system, 8 mega pixel camera and 4 GB internal memory.
Quad core is not a new feature many other mobile companies have launched their handsets on the chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 (Nexus G) and Nvidia Tegra 3 (LG Optimus 4X HD, HTC One X, but the use of quad core increases the handset cost. Together Broadcom and Micromax have tried to lower the price of quad core processor handset. Quad core processor handsets manufactured by international mobile companies' costs around Rs 30,000 but Miromax is giving this handset in just Rs 15000.
According to "The Mobile Indian", Xolo is also going to launch Nvidia Tegra 4 quad core processor on March 2013. Also karbonn mobile company is going to launch Media Tec MT6589 processor based quad core device. Bangalore based iBerry company has already launched its quad core handset Auxus X4 which has Samsung Exynos processor.
