Park Geun-Hye became first female president of South Korea

Daughter of former dictator of South Korea Park Geun-Hye has become first female president of the country. She defeated Moon Jae-in who is a leader of democratic united. There was a heavy voting in the election and economic and social welfare were the main topic.

Park Geun-Hye is 60 years old and she will take place of Lee Myung Bak of her party who is completing his work span of five years. Her rival Moon has got 48.9% votes. She said by addressing her supporters that this win is dedicated to the people for dealing the economic crisis.
