Sahara Group's two real estate companies have requested Supreme Court on Tuesday to submit the detailed report about returning the money to their investors. Before a day of this the court has reprimanded the companies because they were failed to submit the report.
The senior council from Sahara companies Gopal Subramanyam had requested the court to wait till the lunch time for submitting the details but the bench headed by the chief justice Altmas Kabir had dismissed the hearing till Wednesday.
Subramanyam said in the court that the detail about returning money to the investors needs to be checked so more time is required for the process.
On Monday the court has rebuked Sahara and the company asked for time to submit the answer about returning 27,000 crore rupees back to investors. The court said that your faith is very shaky; you are justifying your wrongdoing. Court had given the notice about returning the money in August.
The company challenged their petition by securities appellate tribunal (SAT), they were to pay the investors that fund to be deposit with the SEBI.
