Honda may Increase the Prices of Amaze

After the success of its entry level sedan Amaze, automobile giant Honda is planning to increase its price. Honda Amaze has got more than 1000 bookings within a week. On the other side the waiting on Amaze diesel variant has reached on 4 months. One senior official of Honda cars has said that according to the condition of these days the waiting may reach to 6 months.

The company can increase the price by watching this scenario. The official also said that Amaze is ahead than its leading rivals in terms of features, engine and specifications. But Honda has kept the price very reasonable according to present conditions. The price may increase in upcoming weeks by keeping the present conditions in mind. According to Honda dealers in Delhi, customers may have to wait for four weeks for Amaze Diesel and three weeks for Amaze Petrol.

Company spokesman has said that North India is the main market for the company so Amaze has got very positive response. The starting price of petrol version is Rs.4.99 lacs in ex-showroom Delhi and diesel version is Rs.5.99 lacs. Honda Amaze is a tough competitor of compact sedan Maruti Swift Dzire (Read Honda Amaze vs Swift Dzire). Other companies like Toyota and Hyundai are also going to a tough rivalry from Honda.
