Samsung Galaxy S4 is proving only half storage in the device. The company is claiming for 16GB internal space but half of the memory is occupied by pre-installed applications. On the other side the demand of smart phones is getting higher day by day but high tech dangers are also increasing. It is very necessary for a consumer to stay protected from these dangers. According to a report of last year, smart phones of over 71 lakh people got defected and could not recovered.
Paul Renaulds of consumer report has said that more than 40% people do not consider basic precautions when they use their smart phones.
• Consumers should keep back up of their data and they should download such apps those are helpful to find your phone when it is lost.
• Keep the screen password protected as many people do not use password protected screen lock as they.
• The applications you are using must be protected by a password. If these applications are including much information it is better to lock them via password.
• Some apps provide the location of the user and the privacy details so consumer should by the applications from trusted websites as Apple or Google Play etc. and do not trust third party companies.
• Consumers should provide the information which is necessary. There is some information asked by the application which is not needed.
