Mahindra has launched New Electric Car

Mahindra has launched its four seater hatchback electric car e2O in the Indian market. The on-road price of this car is Rs.5.96 lakh and it takes only 50 paisa for a run of 1Km. Director of Mahindra Reva electric vehicle Pavan Goenka has stated that the running cost of the car is Rs.50 paisa per kilometers and it was much awaited vehicle from the company. It is the first four seater car in electric segment because before this, only two seater car was available.

According to the company Reva takes 5 hours to get fully charged and can easily run till 100km. The car has 48 volt lithium ion battery and you can charge by connecting plug of 15 ampere. Its maximum power is 39.4bhp and 53Nm torque, e2O also has some advanced features as key-less entry, GPS navigation and stop-start button.

Reva has one automatic gear-box and maximum speed is 81km per hour and you can charge it with the Sun 2 Car solar technology. After acquiring Reva it is the first car of Mahindra. This two door car has alloy wheels of 15 inch along with drum breaks and front disk. E2O has tubeless tyres with cup holder feature. Child safety door and front/rear seat belt are also included in its features. This car is launched in 6 attractive colors and the selling will start in 8 major cities. The company is promising that you will save approx Rs.70,000 if you ride this car daily.
