Motorcycle manufacturer company Royal Enfield has announced to launch its 525cc bike by this year end. MD and CEO of Eicher Group Mr. Sidhharth Lal has said that this variant is named as 'Continental GT' and its power will be 525cc. The bike will be launched by the end of 2013. He was speaking on the roll-out of their first bike from second plant at Oragadam, Chennai. Mr. Lal also stated that the company is thinking about production of Continental GT 525cc motorcycle from their second plant at Orgadam.
Right now Eicher motor's branch Royal Enfield is selling Classic, Thunderbolt and Bullet models and their capacity is 350-500cc. The company is selling the bikes through 11 stores and 250 dealers across the country. Company exports its bikes in approx 40 countries including USA, Britain and Japan. In the company's history it has been manufacturing engines, motorcycles and bicycles. Now Royal Enfield has its own reputation in India.
