We told you earlier that Honda Jazz's bookings seem to be started from June 20 and according to the presumption, a final confirmation has been emerged out by this Japanese car manufacturer as its dealers have commenced taking orders for the next generation Jazz from today at the token amount of INR 21,000. Interestingly, Honda has also brought forward the complete details about this hatchback at its website unveiling that it will be more appealing than the current version.
As it has already been seen that the previous model didn't play an impressive role in enticing the customers and in getting a noteworthy response from them, but this retouched car is all set to make glad everyone at a peep by its stunning look and additional feature.
While the earlier version was available in only petrol mill, this upcoming runabout will also be offered in diesel engine choice. Just like the Brio, its petrol variant will be powered by a 1.2 litre i-VTEC unit to produce power of 88 PS, whereas the oil burner trim will include a 1.5 litre i-DTEC unit similar to the Amaze, Mobilio and City to churn out an appreciable power of 100 PS.
The diesel model will be paired to a 6-speed manual transmission, while two gearbox options will be available for gasoline version, such as a 5-speed manual and the City borrowed CVT. Likely to be priced between INR 5Lac to INR 7 Lac, the next generation Honda Jazz will give tremendous competition against the Fiat Punto Evo, Maruti Swift, Hyundai Elite i20, Tata Bolt and VW Polo.
