The Royal Enfield Based Carberry Double Barrel 1000 launched in India pricing INR 7.35 lakh (factory price). This is the lowest cost bike in India with 1000 cc engine or in the range of liter-class motorcycles. The bike is ready to go against the Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc twin-cylinder bike which is about to unveil in EICMA 2018.
The booking for the bike has already started with the booking amount of INR 1 lakh and the expected delivery is almost 10 months away. The double barrel 1000 reflects the similar appearance like Royal Enfield and cherished by a completely new dual-cradle chassis manufactured domestically by Carberry. The bike comes up with amazing safety characteristics like ABS control, Disc brake at the front and the rear end, and a 2-in-1 exhaust system.

To form a 1000cc engine, Carberry has combined two 500cc UCE Royal Enfield engines and with 55-degree-v-twin placed engine, the bike is capable to power double drum engine. The motor goes well with 5-speed gearbox and is capable enough to churn out 53 BHP power and 82 Nm torque. The appealing setup attributes a 7-plate clutch with a strengthened primary chain, strong hydraulic lifters, a heavy mechanically linked crankshaft, the big end bearing roller which is able to twice the main bearing capacity of the mono cylinder and oil pump running arrangements to protect the engine from any damages.
The bike has a separate engagement of oil pressure gauge and the liquid flowing from 3.7-litre oil tank are cleaned off through an external spin on filter and able to pump 10 times more than single-cylinder RE engine. The engine of Carberry delivers power in a tranquil way with minute vibrations around the rev range and in case of any damage, the parts are available to compensate.
