Lenovo’s owned Motorola is all set to launch its flagship device, Motorola launched the Moto Z2 Force, in India after the successor to the Moto Z Force. The limited edition phone will be launched in the live streaming event on its official channel at 12 pm IST on 15 February. The Moto TurboPower Pack Moto Mod which brings the total power of the smartphone to 6,220 mAh when connected.
The Moto Z2 Force price in India will be officially revealed only at the launch on Thursday. The unlocked variant of the phone was launched in the US last year at the price of $547 which is approximately Rs. 34,998. We can expect the phone to have a similar price in India. The handset is expected to be available across several online and offline channels where online via either Flipkart or Amazon and offline - via the company\'s MotoHub retail stores. The handset is expected to be available in two color variants - Lunar Grey and Fine Gold.

The Moto Z2 Force is designed with a 7000 series aluminum unibody design with water-repellent nano-coating, and the back of the smartphone comes with pogo pin connectors to establish connectivity with different Moto Mods.
The Moto Z2 Force runs Android 8.0 Oreo. The Moto Z2 Force features a 5.5-inch QHD with the resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels ShatterShield POLED display. The smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, paired with 4GB and 6GB RAM options and 64GB or 128GB storage option that both are expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB). Further, in terms of optics, there is a dual camera setup on the rear side with dual 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 image sensors. While one of the two sensors captures RGB images, the other one is a monochrome sensor. Both have f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, laser autofocus, and a CCT dual-LED flash. In the front, it includes a 5-megapixel camera sensor is available with a f/2.2 aperture, 85-degree wide angle lens, and an LED flash.

The phone is powered by a 2730 mAh battery that supports a 15W TurboPower charger. In terms of connectivity options, there is Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port, but it does not have a headphone jack, which may have an impact on its popularity in the Indian smartphone market. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The Moto Z2 Force measures 155.8x76x 6.1mm and weighs 143 grams.
