Lenovo, the parenting firm of Motorola has started rolling out media invites for a launching event on Monday, where the company has announced to launch its recently released Moto C Plus smartphone in India. The new Moto C range has recently been introduced, and India is one of the first few countries where it is getting launched. The company has already launched the younger sibling of the smartphone in India dubbed as Moto C with a price tag of Rs 5,999.
The Moto C and Moto C Plus smartphones are introduced to target the first-time smartphone users and are undoubtedly the most affordable handsets of the company. Motorola has also started to create a dazzling environment for the upcoming launch. The company, on Wednesday in a tweet stated, “Yes, it'll never let you run out of juice. Yes, it's that charged!” along with hashtags Moto C Plus and coming soon. The device has already made its debut in the global market with a starting price rate of EUR 119 (Rs. 8,300 approx) for 1GB RAM/16GB storage variant.
In term of specifications, the Android smartphone features a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor paired with 1GB/2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded via microSD card. The optical part of the Dual-SIM smartphone packs an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12-micron pixels, autofocus, 71-degree field of view and a LED flash. A 2-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company for shooting selfies.
The biggest highlight of the smartphone is its battery, as the GSM handset is powered by a massive 4000mAh battery. It lacks the availability of a fingerprint sensor and has capacitive navigation buttons at front. The speaker grill is placed at the rear side of it and the 3.5mm audio jack can be seen at top of the handset.
