It seems that Xiaomi is working on another flagship smartphone, and it is anticipated that it could be the fifth smartphone that will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, this time for the Indian market. The Chinese tech giant has recently unveiled four smartphones namely Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, Mi Mix 2S, and Black Shark especially in the China market but neither of them has launched in the Indian market.

As per the reports that have appeared on the internet recently suggested that the Xiaomi will soon launch a new smartphone in the country that has spotted with code \'Beryllium’ along with some key specifications which providing us hint about the upcoming smartphone.
As mentioned above, an alleged Xiaomi smartphone has been spotted with codename Beryllium and this information was spotted in the firmware files that were generated back in March. The files were spotted on two popular technology website. Two variants of the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone codenamed as ‘Beryllium\' and \'Beryllium_global\' were spotted on the firmware files.
As per the information provided in the recent report, the name of the ‘India’ is mentioned two times in the code of the MIUI camera app. For the first time, is titled as \'isIndiaBeautyFilter\' and the second it has in \'dualcamera_india\'. Notably, both of these return a positive output only when India is set in the build property called \'ro.boot.hwc\'.
The first variant of Xiaomi which is codenamed with \'Beryllium\' will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and runs on top of the line Android 8.1 - Oreo-based MIUI. It seems that it will be powered by a larger 4,000mAh battery. It is anticipated that the smartphone will feature a dual rear camera set up with the support of optical zoom and also have a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will also feature NFC connectivity options.
Currently, there is no information regarding the name, price, and availability of the Xiaomi upcoming smartphone. The report claims that it is the smartphone that has been trademarked as \'POCOPHONE\', and smartphone with this brand name has recently spotted on the US FCC site.
