It seems that the Harley-Davidson has itself started customizing its own products to gain more fame all over the world. For the past few weeks, the company has been pretty busy in upgrading its Sportster Series and CVO Series of motorcycles. According to a recent release, the Harley-Davidson has confirmed the introduction of the lower-seated motorcycle, which gets line-up for the year 2015 launch.
Here comes another entry in the Sportster Series of Motorcycles, the all new Harley-Davidson 1200 Custom. This is a middleweight cruiser motorcycle which has been scheduled to launch in the coming year, 2015. The upcoming 2015 Sportster 1200 Custom will be receiving some new updates which can be counted on your finger tips, while most of the tech figures remain untouched by the manufacturer.
The upcoming 2015 Sportster 1200 Custom will be featuring the same air-cooled Evolution engine, which gives an engine displacement of 1,202cc. The Evolution engine is equipped with ESPFI system and capable to produce a peak torque of 96Nm @ 3,750 RPM. The performance of the motorcycle is completely based upon the chassis and its appropriate weight, i.e. 265 KG. The wheelbase, ground clearance, seat height, power and torque figures remain unchanged.
In order to provide complete safety, the company has added ABS and a smart security fob. The instrument console has also redesigned in order to remove the additional instrumentation, and receives an analog speedometer along with an LCD screen to count revolutions, gear positioning and other figures. The motorcycle will be coming in two different versions, which is provided by the manufacturer itself, named as "Factory Custom", are XL1200 CA and XL1200 CB. The CA receives contrast-cut machined rims and the CB version will be coming along with black wire spoke rims. The prices of the upcoming motorcycle has not yet announced by the manufacturer.
