Audi Unveils New R8 Coupe V10 Plus Limited Edition

In order to pay homage to the success in endurance racing competitions, Audi has launched the limited edition of the Audi R8 Coupe V10 Plus “selection 24h, which has been limited to 24 units. Notedly, the new generation R8 LMS successfully won the debut race held in Nurburgring last year.

The R8 Coupe V10 Plus is based on the fastest and most power centric production Audi. It weighs 1,454kg because of the chassis featuring aluminium and Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP), which is built with multilayer framing. The exterior comes with special attachments and distinguished styling. These consist of the front spoiler, diffuser finished in glossy carbon fibre side mirrors, engine compartment cover and rear wing. The edition stands on special 20-inch 10-spoke forged aluminium alloy wheels which comes painted in anthracite black and matt-finished side blades along with the “R8 24h” logo imprinted on them. To give it a racing car touch, the tri-colour paint themen has been used including the Misano red highlights, Suzuka Grey and mythos black.

Meanwhile, the interior looks sporty and magnificent with the extended inlays for the Audi virtual cockpit covered in glossy-finished carbon fibre and air vents across the cabin. The illuminated door sills display the serial number of the car as well. The seats are comfortable and ame covered up with premium leather upholstery, using the Alcantara as the headliner.

Under the hood, the R8 Coupe V10 Plus comes powered by a 5.2-litre V10 powermill that is capable of delivering a power output of 610bhp and 560 Nm of peak torque. The power is executed through the Quattro all-wheel drive system along with the the seven-speed S tronic gearbox. The automaker claims that the supercar can sprint 0-100kph in just 3.2 seconds and offers a wooping top speed of up to 330 kph.

The Euro Spec model is available for booking in the international market and unfortunately, we won’t see the limited edition in India. It comes with a price tag of Euro 2,29,000 ( INR 1.73 crore estimated).
