Recently, two new members have joined the Bajaj Discover Series, but who knows that these new joining will make other two contenders to lose their jobs. The Bajaj Auto has announced that they will be going to discontinue two models from the Discover Series. The discontinued models are Discover 100T and Discover 125T.
After the launch of Discover 150S and Discover 150F, the company will be manufacturing only four variants in Discover Series. After introducing lots of variants in Discover Series, it seems that the manufacturer itself gets confused with the variants and also created hoopla for its buyers as well. The company's quick decision of discontinuing the Discover 100T and 125T, just after the launch of Discover 150S and 150F, might affect the sales of both of these newly launched commuter segment motorcycles.
As of now, there will be no further changes in the Discover Series. The basic platform of the Discover range has been given to the newly launched Discover 150S and 150F. Both of these motorcycles heat-up the commuter segment market with their launch. The new motorcycles have been blessed with a rear monoshock suspension and a longer wheelbase. Talking about the performance, both 150S and 150F are powered with 150cc engine displacement, which is capable to generate more power and torque as compared to the 100T and 125T.
And, in terms of styling, the 150S features a normal commuter segment fairing along with great style and comfort. The Discover 150F is featuring a front faired 150cc commuter motorcycle, which carries amazing performance along with sporty looks. However, the manufacturer is also readying to introduce the long awaited Pulsar 200SS and 400SS. Both the new entry in the Pulsar series will get scheduled for the 2015 launch and according to a report, Pulsar 200SS might be receiving Fuel-Injection technology. Well, the further details time alone will tell us!!
