BMW Motorrad is all prepared to set its feet into the Indian two wheeler market by this year. Mr. Stefan Schaller, President and CEO of BMW Motorrad confirmed the entry of the BMW and TVS alliance manufactured naked compact streetbike, BMW G310R by the festive month of October this year. While press conference, It has been officially announced via Stefan Schaller at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este event in Italy.
For your information, as of now, Deutsche Motoren and Navnit Motors produces the motorcycle range of BMW for the Indian enthusiasts. But in the coming future, German bike maker could announce the setup of its dealerships and service centres in the Indian metro, nearer the launch of BMW G310R. The production of this naked runner will be done at the installed new assembly line in Hosur based TVS Motors plant and the production ready G310R will be displayed at the BMW Motorrad outlets for sale.

In this handshake between BMW and TVS, the native giant did manufacturing work at larger scale to cater the global market and the German auto maker develops technology or can say do research and development of the products developed in the coalition.
The BMW G310R is featured with a 313cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine to propel with the belted out power of 34 bhp at 9500 rpm and the torque of 28 Nm at 7500 revs. For this outcoming the mill is connected to a six-speed gearbox.
The cutting edge suspension setup comprises a 41mm upside-down front fork and the rear placed monoshock with adjustable preload.
