Back in the year 2011, BMW came up with the X1 SUV for Indian market, which became quite popular in the country. Later in 2013, it was updated with additional and improved elements. Now recently, the automaker has yet again tweaked the model and has launched it with just one variant. This trim is X1 M Sport which has been rolled out at a retail price of INR 37.90 Lacs (ex-showroom, Thane). This is the last facelift version of the car as the company is planning to bring it in an all new avatar by the next year.

The facelift model has got all the style and elegance that one expects from any BMW offering. From outside, the already appealing looks have gone a notch higher with the revised exteriors. It stands on 18-inch alloys and flaunt various hard-to-ignore elements including new projector headlamps, fog lamps, signature kidney grille and revamped bumpers. Moving inside, the new X1 model carries a new instrument panel along with a leather wrapped M steering wheel.

As far as the mechanical configuration is concerned, it continues to be powered by a 3 litre, four-cylinder twin turbocharged diesel motor making 184 Bhp and 380 Nm of maximum output. The acceleration capability of this car can enable it to sprint upto 100 km/h in just 7.7 seconds. Talking about the color options, prospective buyers can choose among two shades namely Alpine White and Le Mans Blue.
