Revealed just a couple of days before the 2015 EICMA, the new Triumph Bonneville range India is now available for bookings across Indian dealerships. The British manufacturer has presented three main products to the Bonneville family- the new entry-level Street Twin, the Bonneville T120 and the Bonneville T120 Black, which are considered as the most aspiring and high-priced projects till now. Thruxton and Thruxton R are also in the line up of cafe racers by the automaker. All the new models are going to be showcased at the approaching Auto Expo from 5th to 9th February, 2016.

According to Vimal Sumbly, MD, Triumph Motorcycles, India, “ The new range of the iconic Bonneville is exactly what our customers have asked for and what the next generation of Bonneville should be – more beautiful, more powerful and more capable. Triumph India expects the new line-up to be huge for the Indian market.”
Power to the new Street Twin comes from a 900cc liquid cooled twin cylinder engine that delivers 80 NM of peak torque at 3,200 RPM. While the Bonneville T120 sports a 1200cc high torque 8 valve, parallel twin engine that generates a peak torque figure of 105NM at a low 3100 RPM. Talking about the Thruxton/Thruxton R duo, both the Cafe Racers feature a 1200cc, 8 valve, parallel twin engine delivering 112 NM of torque at 4950 RPM.
Sources said that the British automaker will go for the new Street Twin first, succeeding the Auto Expo, while the other models may take some time to reach the Indian two-wheeler market. And clearing this once again, prices for the Bonneville Indian Range may disappoint a lot of audiences here, as they are surely wrapped with an exorbitant price tag as compared to the earlier variants.
