Bookings Open For Skoda Superb Sportline To Compete With The Rivals

Around October 15, 2018, Skoda is ready to dispatch the Superb Sportline in India. The skoda Superb Sportline is the sportier-looking version of the company flagship sedan and comes with the keen styling including black exterior treatment, and a bright red paint job.

The initial booking of the Sportline have unofficially started with dealers accepting Rs 50,000. Between the base Style trim and Klement variant and the top-spec Lauren, the Superb Sportline has been priced.

Skoda-Superb-Sportline-Interior

It is expected that the Superb Sportline will continue to run the present model/s engine and transmission setup. On the engine front, it has 1.8-litre, TSI petrol engine making 180hp and 320Nm of torque, and a 2.0-litre TDI diesel motor that produces 177hp and 350Nm of peak torque. The petrol model gets 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission options; on the other hand, the diesel variant gets a 6-speed DSG unit as standard.

Superb’s chrome elements is replaced by blacked-out exterior package which adds the sporty looks to the Sportline. Gloss-black color is furnished on the grille, headlamp, mirror caps, side skirts and a boot-lid spoiler including a set of 19-inch, alloy wheels will also be on offer.

The interior of the Superb Sportline will get all-black treatment with a contrasting red stitching. To complete the package, the car is fitted with new sporty seats with Alcantara inserts, aluminium pedals, and some carbon-fibre trimming on the dash.

Octavia RS model was recently sold by Skoda India and consequently the Sportline comes at adept time to take advantage of the gap left by the execution arranged car in its product offering.
