Nissan owned Datsun is all set to launch its Redi-Go in India on April 14, 2016. The model is based on the Renault-Nissan alliance platform that can also be seen with the Renault Kwid. The vehicle was first showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo as a concept. After experiencing with the Datsun Go hatchback, it will be the second model that is based on this common developed platform. When launched, it will rival against the cars like Maruti Alto 800, Renault Kwid and Hyundai Eon.
Although, it is based on similar platform but it will offer some different feature and add-ons for the consumers. It includes, a hexagonal honeycomb grille, chromed bumper, sweptback headlamps with DRLs, LED fog lights, sculpted bonnet, skid plate and many more in this aspect that beautifies its exterior appeal.

Inside the cabin, it could be offered with similar dashboard as the Kwid model. The central console might get an infotainment system with touchscreen display, digital instrument cluster and other major advanced features.
Under the hood, it is likely to powered by an 800cc, 3-cylinder petrol engine that is also available Kwid hatchback. With this powertrain, the engine is tuned to belt out 55 Bhp of power at 5,678 rpm and 70 Nm of peak torque at 4,386 rpm. Expect an AMT transmission as an option along with 5-speed manual.
Well, the car is not far from the official launch, but the deliveries could be delayed . As per the report, the automaker would possibly deliver the units by the end of April. Yet to confirm, but it might go on sale amid the price range of INR 2.5 Lakhs to INR 3.25 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom New Delhi).
