Embrace the Special Edition Suzuki GSX-S1000 Carbon and GSX-S1000F Tour

Suzuki has pulled the wraps off its two new special edition models, GSX-S1000 Carbon Edition and GSX-S1000F Tour Edition, which can be now be availed from the Japanese automaker. Both the variants are for the UK market and available from this month at authorized outlets of Suzuki. While the Carbon Edition features two color schemes, namely- the MotoGP blue and the contrasting red, the Tour version gets to settle down with blue only.

Briefing the exterior, the MotoGP Blue color Carbon Edition model comes armed with color-coded Brembo monobloc calipers, yellow graphics on the belly and wheel tape. Furthermore, a full-fledged carbon accessory kit completes the package including the rear hugger, crankcase cover, clutch cover, and alternator cover. Contrary to this, the and black model gets featured with red Brembo calipers accompanied by white graphics and red wheel tape. We could say, the treatment is more or less similar. The Suzuki’s do-it-all Tour Edition sportsbike earns a 15-litre tank case and 12-litre tail pack, lofter screen, heated grips, and a silver graphics kit.

As of now, the Japanese automaker has been tight-lipped about the launch of these models in India. As far as the price is concerned, the GSX-S1000 Carbon Edition comes along with a tag of £9,499 (INR 8.37 lakh) and £9,999 (INR 8.81) for the ABS version. On the other hand, the Tour Edition GSX-S1000F would be under the price bucket of £10,299 (INR 9.08 lakh).

Owing to the aggressive styling and getting the engine from the iconic GSX-R1000 K5, the GSX-S1000 already ticks a lot of boxes (words from Rob Cooper, Suzuki GB Marketing manager). Apart from this, what seizes the attention of masses and stand these sportsters out from the crowd are the fascinating graphics and colored Brembo calipers. The Tour Edition, on the counterpart, is an everyday bike comprising of comfortable riding position and weather protection facility with the GSX-R’s characteristics being retained as well. On an all, we can say that the S1000F is a more practical and day-to-day bike for the customers.
