Fiat Abarth Punto is again here with its spy shots flaunting both black and white paint shades. Fiat has commenced inviting orders for its bookings for a token amount of INR 50,000 at company dealerships. The launch is set to take place on 19th October and there is a lot of excitement in the market. People are eagerly waiting to witness the arrival of this power packed hatchback, as there is already a lack of options in the hot hatch segment. Models like VW Polo and Ford Figo are some probable threats for this upcoming car in India.

As we have already told you that it will be rolled out in two color options with red highlights, it can also be seen in the spied images. The scorpion designed alloys, racing stripes running along the length of the car, Abarth Badges, red colored wing mirrors and a well pronounced hood are some eye catching elements boasted on the exterior portions. The interior is also going to be quite sporty and funky with yellow stitching on the seats and a racy steering wheel.

Under the hood, it will be fitted with a 1.4 litre T-Jet turbocharged petrol motor that makes 145 Hp and 212 Nm of maximum output. Transmission is handles by a 5-speed manual gearbox and the mileage returned by this mechanical setup amounts to 16.3 km/l. Talking about the acceleration capability, it will sprint up to 100 km/h from standstill in merely 8.8 seconds, whereas it will reach to a distance of 1000 m in 30.4 seconds.
