Fiat-India has introduced its new hatchback named Punto Pure at the ongoing 2016 Auto Expo. This model is automakers entry-level hatchback car in the segment which is enlisted with the popular Punto Evo. The hot hatch is available at a starting price of INR Rs 4.49 lakh(base variant), while the top variant is available at a price of INR Rs 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Fiat Punto Pure shall be offered with four engine choices, the 1.2-litre, 1.4-litre gasoline engine , and 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engines. The engines produce maximum power output of – 67bhp, 88.7bhp, 75bhp and 91.7bhp respectively. All the engines come paired to a five-speed manual transmission. The car also offers four trims, namely, Active, Dynamic, Emotion and Sport.
The new Punto Pure also features an array of safety equipments like ABS, front airbags, auto climate control, adjustable driver seat, rear AC vents, and chrome-plated door handles. The new Fiat Punto Pure is likely to compete with Hyundai i10 and Maruti Celerio. The Fiat Punto Pure goes up against rivals like the Maruti Celerio and Hyundai i10.
